19 Sep Why partner workouts are GREAT!
Some people enjoy working out solo and sometime it can be nice, but if you’re trying to make exercise a habit or your looking to reach a specific goal, a friend could be a BIG help and here is why!
BENEFITS OF WORKING OUT WITH A FRIEND
Canceling means inconveniencing a friend. If you make plans with a friend in advance you’ll be far less likely to cancel.
Friends can provide an extra boost of motivation when times get tough. Everyone has those days where they want to give up or just don’t feel like going to the gym, friends can offer encouragement and keep you going!
3️⃣ LEARN NEW EXERCISES & STYLES OF TRAINING
Even this biggest gym rat doesn’t know it all. A friend can teach you new exercises and circuits that will keep your body guessing.
A little friendly competition or training with someone that you perceive as “stronger” or “better” then you are will also help increase the intensity of your workouts.
5️⃣ AVOID INJURY
Working out with a friend means you always have a spotter. They can keep an eye on your form which will help prevent injuries.
